SSC Stenographer Final Result 2026 – Summary

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the Final Result for Stenographer Grade C & D Examination 2025 on 18 June 2026. A total of 1,715 candidates have been recommended for appointment across various government departments. The result includes the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) list along with category-wise cut-off marks. Candidates who appeared for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) held from 6-8 August 2025 and qualified the subsequent Stenography Skill Test can check their results on ssc.gov.in. The physical sliding process will be conducted on 1-2 July 2026 to optimize vacancy filling.

About Staff Selection Commission (SSC)

The Staff Selection Commission, established on 4 November 1975, is one of India's premier recruitment organizations under the Government of India. 1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective type questions testing General Intelligence, English Language, and General Awareness
2. Skill Test: Dictation at 100 wpm (Grade C) or 80 wpm (Grade D) and transcription
3. Final Merit: CBT marks (200) + Skill Test qualifying
4. Document Verification: For provisionally selected candidates
