Selection Process
- CBT 1: 75-minute computer test on Mathematics, General Intelligence, Reasoning

Salary Structure
Selected candidates will be placed in Level-2 (₹19,900-63,200) of 7th CPC with additional allowances:
- Basic Pay: ₹19,900/month
- Dearness Allowance: 46% of basic pay
- House Rent Allowance: 8-24% (city-based)
- Transport Allowance: ₹3,600-7,200
- Total emoluments: ₹35,000-40,000/month initially
Career Growth
ALPs can progress to:
- Loco Pilot (Passenger) after 2 years
- Loco Pilot (Goods) after 5 years
- Senior Loco Pilot with 10+ years experience
- Further promotions to supervisory roles
